Our Clinics

The services we provide may change depending on current NHS practice and agreement.

  • Childhood and adult vaccinations according to current recommendations
  • Travel vaccinations and advice (there are charges for some of these)
  • Regular review of chronic illnesses such as asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease.
  • Nursing services include blood taking, ECG, breathing tests, dressings and review of wounds.

Family Planning

All the doctors and nurses can advise about family planning. You can make a routine appointment. 

Maternity Services

All the doctors can provide pre-conception advice, antenatal care and post-natal checks. Care during pregnancy is normally shared between the doctors and highly experienced midwives who holds weekly antenatal clinics in the local community.

Diabetic Clinics

We strongly recommend regular checks at least annually; the nurses can provide reviews of blood pressure, blood tests, urine testing and foot checks. We also run weekly diabetic clinics led by our Doctors and Clinical Pharmacists to review medication optimisation.

Asthma Clinics

We run yearly asthma reviews at the surgery led by our Asthma Nurse alongside our Clinical Pharmacists and Doctors. We are able to review your symptoms, inhalers, inhaler techniques and ensure your medication is always optimised for your symptoms.

Well Person Clinics

Well Woman Clinic – This is for women wishing a check up for their reassurance; it comprises a blood pressure check, teaching breast self-examination, smear, and urine check if appropriate as well as a general review of diet and lifestyle.

Well Man Clinics – The nurses can provide advice on diet, weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, smoking and other adjustments towards healthy living.

Stop Smoking Clinic

Local Pharmacists and Herts Stop Smoking Clinics are available to our patients. Please speak to a GP or Nurse for details and how to book an appointment.
